After a lot of deliberation, I decided to go ahead and root my Spica. The advantages are too numerous to ignore, especially on Android 2.1. Honestly speaking, getting root became a necessity for me after just a month of using my Spica. I'd like to share the procedure here...

You must be thinking "Come on! Another Android app list?" Well, yes this is another list. But rather than repeat the same apps that appear regularly in all the lists, I thought I'd try my best to make this list as personal as possible by including apps that I really use and can't do without.

Android inclinations. I've become a sucker for
Android ever since Donut. Being an open source idealist only increased my liking (and respect) for Android, and the tremendous growth that has taken place over such a short span of time. Today, Android 2.2 is
officially announced, and it may just be the best release yet...
